Again? What am I going to do when everyone finds out how attractive, cool, smart, good-looking, funny, and handsome the webmaster of gyrate dot org is (again)?

Your wish is my command, Mr. Pervert.

This is like the opposite of what the morons on Reddit were telling me the other day. I do extra work to make sure everything here works on mobile, but one guy was like "I don't use any service unless it has an Android app."
-
Thanks for doing this, and great job on your website! Maybe I'll make my own someday after I learn how to operate a computer.
-
I just discovered that I broke the Altcha widget almost a week ago, so nobody has been able to log in or create an account even if they wanted to. It should be fixed now, so I'm rerunning this campaign.
-
It looks weird to me, but there should be a light mode now (as long as that's what your system is set to). Maybe I'll make a toggle for it later.
-
Brilliant!
-
Believe it or not, I think we're getting more (and higher quality) traffic from stupid comments I've posted on YouTube!
-
The improved CTR might not even matter if none of them are joining. I think I'll try running this ad again in the desktop format.
-
They're just obeying my command. ;-)
❯ curl -Is https://gyrate.org/ | grep robots x-robots-tag: noarchiveFor better protection against scrapers and archivers, don't make your post public.

Your website sucks and I hate it.
-
You were Correct. That's why I left it here all night as a reminder to fix it just now. Thanks again to Mr. Kumar!
-
That's a good point. User tags were an early experiment, and I've been thinking about getting rid of them now that we have those little badges next to our names.

For the record, deactivating your Gyrate account resets the password to something random, but it leaves the email address alone in case you might want to recover your account later. If you really want to disappear without a trace, you can just delete the email address yourself since it's an optional field.
I have an idea to protect against bots by building a web of trust (that's what invite-only mode and the invite system are for), and actually deleting the account record would mess up the user tree. But I also don't like having a bunch of garbage data in the database, so I'm not exactly sure how I want to deal with that yet.
-
I'd ban you for that if I knew how!
-
I don't know if I trust people to come up with funny/offensive enough usernames.
