i tried that other ai-centric ide (zed) posted here and it was pretty lame. i'm gonna install this one at some point and play around with it, too. i don't really use any stupid features like debugging or ide servers or terminals or whatever. i'm even willing to give up pycharm's search in file functionality and just use grep or something else at this point.

what i really want from an ide is for it to not fucking do a bunch of gay annoying bullshit like adding characters to a document while i'm typing. just fucking indent my code when i push enter and show me errors and linter shit or whatever the fuck. stop trying to think for me.
